These past 2 days have been busy for ACF Yuma. Our Vice President of Regional Impact, Jennifer Perry, and our Chief Development Officer, Todd Stoa, visited the Yuma office alongside with Regional Philanthropic Advisor Alex Vieyra.

They visited Right Turn for Yuma Veterans, where they support local Veterans from avoiding homelessness and also offer various support services such as Mental Health counseling, transportation services and life coaching.

The staff also took a visit to the Yuma Community Food Bank and met with their amazing staff to see check out the impact they have been doing all over Yuma county.

On Thursday morning, the ACF Staff and a few board members also visited the new Somerton Location for Sunset Health that will be opening soon. We know this clinic is going to serve so many more people in the Somerton area that need it.

Overall, we love to see the impact that our local organizations are doing we will continue to show support for everyone.

The Arizona Community Foundation of Yuma had the chance to do some site visits this week to see how different organizations are making an impact here in Yuma for our community.

Including the Yuma HEAL Coalition and Children's Museum of Yuma County

We are here to make an impact in the community and we will help in any way that we can.

We want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to Chemo Companions for bringing down supplies to help us create gift bags for local chemotherapy patients here in Yuma 💙

These bags are more than just items—they’re a reminder to patients that they are not alone and that their community is standing with them every step of the way.

We’re proud that the Arizona Community Foundation of Yuma could support this effort through a grant, helping make this meaningful impact possible for our community.

We were thrilled to host our annual Board of Advisors meeting in person at our Phoenix central office this past Friday. Advisors traveled from every corner of Arizona to join us for a day fueled by enthusiasm and a shared vision for our state.
