🎉 Big news for Yuma!

The Arizona Community Foundation is thrilled to welcome Lisa Ball as the new Regional Director of our ACF of Yuma office, effective August 3!

A Yuma resident since 1992, Lisa brings 25 years of leadership experience and deep community roots to the role. Many of you already know her from her 14 years with Special Olympics Arizona, where she built trusted partnerships across the region.

Lisa will lead donor engagement and asset development, working alongside Alex Vieyra, our Regional Philanthropic Advisor, who remains the go-to contact for local nonprofits and grants. Together, they make a powerful local team for Yuma. 💪

📢 Join Us for Our Next Nonprofit Leadership Breakfast! ☕

The Arizona Community Foundation of Yuma invites nonprofit leaders to our Grant Cycle Workshop on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, as we prepare for our upcoming Competitive Grant Cycle!

Whether you're applying for the first time or are a returning applicant, this workshop will provide valuable guidance on the grant application process, important deadlines, eligibility requirements, and tips for submitting a strong proposal.

📍 In-Person Workshop - Arizona Western College
🕗 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM

💻 Virtual Workshop - Zoom
🕐 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM

The workshop will be presented by our own Regional Philanthropic Advisor, Alex Vieyra, who will walk attendees through the upcoming grant cycle and answer questions along the way.

Please note: Attendance is not required to apply for funding; however, it is strongly encouraged to help your organization better understand the application process and maximize your opportunity for success.

We look forward to connecting with nonprofit organizations throughout Yuma County as we continue working together to strengthen our community.
