🐴📖 Barnyard Biographies 📖🐴

Boomer has a beautiful kindness about himself that makes him a favorite. Many of our riders find peace and acceptance in his kind eyes. He also has the slowest and sweetest lope for our riders who are ready for the challenge.

Boomer was born in 2008 and is a Sorrel American Quarter Horse Gelding.

This week we went back to basics after a long summer break, practicing warm ups and whoas and gos. Starting and stopping are important skills in the arena, and communicating with a 1000 lb animal with a mind of its own is confidence-building! 🐴

No classes next week for Fall Break. We’ll see you back in the arena Monday, October 19th. ❤️

Honoring our Legacy Circle

These generous supporters are among the most committed partners of Savannah Station and the students we serve. Their extraordinary generosity helps make hope and healing with horses possible for families in our community, free of charge.

We are deeply grateful for your continued investment in our mission.

Thank you for helping us change lives, one ride at a time. ❤️

Last week we took a group of our students to compete in the Equine Empowerment Horse Show at the State Fair and we are still riding the high. 🐴❤️

For many of our students, opportunities to compete are rare. To watch them ride, hear their names called over the loudspeaker, and receive a ribbon makes the day so special. Every single student we brought came home with a ribbon and we love celebrating them!

This is hope and healing in action.

We’re back! 🐴❤️

Classes are back in session and it feels so good to have our students and volunteers back in the arena. This is why we do what we do.
