The SUTTER YUBA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION awards grants to organizations with four characteristics:

- An active Board of Directors
- Sound financial management
- Demonstrated ability to carry out the proposed project
- Recognition by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) charitable organizations
* Please note: No grants are made to individuals.

Applications are reviewed by the SYCF Board on the 3rd Monday of each month.

With more and more occupations requiring advanced education, a college degree or technical/trade certificate is critical to your success in today's workforce.

The SUTTER YUBA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION is proud to support the continuing education efforts of the students in our area. Through the generous donations of local philanthropic individuals and organizations, we offer several scholarship options for applicants to choose from. Each with unique qualifiers and benefits.
