Yuba-Sutter Fair Scholarship Program Miss Yuba-Sutter, Miss Teen Yuba-Sutter and Mini Miss Yuba-Sutter

The annual Yuba-Sutter Fair Scholarship Competition is for Miss Yuba-Sutter, Miss Teen Yuba-Sutter and Mini Miss Yuba-Sutter. This is a two-month program in which the girls are educated, motivated and stimulated in the areas of on-stage performing, community service and leadership development. The onstage portion of the scholarship program is not representative of the competition in its entirety.

Onstage, the participants are seen to compete in three areas of competition: communication skills, talent and the ability to answer an impromptu question. Miss and Miss Teen Yuba-Sutter participants are also judged in four offstage areas of competition: personality interview, scholastic achievement, community service and knowledge of the fair industry. Mini Miss Yuba-Sutter participants are judged in one other offstage area of competition: personality interview. The selected girls serve one-year terms in which they attend community service events, representing the Yuba-Sutter Fair and community. At the end of their one-year reign, Miss Yuba-Sutter is awarded a $2,000 scholarship, Miss Teen is awarded $500, and Mini Miss Yuba-Sutter is awarded with $250.

Thank you SO MUCH to our very own Yuba-Sutter Fairboard, CEO Dave Dillabo and Board of Directors, for having our Royal Court at their board meeting tonight and for sponsoring our Miss Yuba-Sutter Scholarship of $2,000! We are SO THANKFUL to be supported by a wonderful fair and the people who make it happen.

The Royal Court spent last weekend parading during the Bok Kai Festival down in Marysville. We were delighted to be gifted a huge float by the Yuba Sutter Fair and driven by our own Dave Dillabo. Looking for an amazing opportunity for your child to grow confidence, build leadership skills, and earn scholarships? This is it!

💰 $8,550+ in scholarships awarded in 2025!

Students in this program will develop:

Winter Season is starting up! The Royal Court has started their first Winter appearances at both the Marysville Christmas Parade and Santa’s Winter Wonderland at the Tri-Counties Community Center. They participated in the parade and waved on viewers from their float. They were also seen helping at Santa’s Winter Wonderland by handing out presents, and also helping children make their gingerbread houses. The Royal Court will be back next weekend for the Olivehurst Christmas parade. Hope to see you there!

We’ve had a fun few past appearances!

Last weekend the South Yuba County Sunrise Rotary graciously invited the Royal Court to participate at the Plumas Lake Block Party, where the Court volunteered, mingled with community members, and had the opportunity to talk about our program to others. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

Then this past week the Royal Court made their appearance at the Butte County Scholarship Program to support the contestants. Miss Yuba-Sutter, Simrat, had the opportunity to judge interviews on Saturday, and Yuba-Sutter Ambassador, Toby, was honored to judge the Missette age category of the pageant on Thursday night. We at the Yuba-Sutter Scholarship Program would like to congratulate all the young people who participated in the Butte County Scholarship Program and hope they enjoyed their time with the amazing program. Thank you to the Butte County Scholarship Program for having us at such a wonderful event!
