Our best helper, Isabella, decided to take some adorable puppy portraits today and says you’ll have to excuse her knees in the photos! 😂

With nine puppies needing around-the-clock care and our rescue still in its infancy, we rely heavily on family support. Isabella, our oldest daughter, is always the first to jump in and help without being asked (though puppy cleanup isn’t exactly her favorite job! 🤣).

The puppies are growing fast, becoming more active, and finding their voices. We’re also incredibly grateful for the individuals who have donated supplies and supported our rescue. Your generosity helps make it possible for us to give these puppies the care they need. ❤️🐾

🐾 Yaya Update 🐾

We’re happy to share that Yaya has fully recovered from mastitis! ❤️

Unfortunately, she no longer has any desire to nurse her puppies, so we are now bottle-feeding all nine babies around the clock. The puppies are doing well and getting lots of extra love and attention from our team. 🍼🐶

We’re also making sure Yaya gets plenty of love, too. She has been an amazing mom and gave her puppies the best start possible. Now it’s her turn to rest, recover, and be spoiled. 💕

🐾 Puppy Update 🐾

Our sweet mama, Yaya, has unfortunately developed mastitis and has stopped nursing her nine puppies. While she’s resting and receiving the care she needs, the babies are now being bottle-fed around the clock.

We’re so grateful for the support our community has already shown, and if anyone would like to help, we’re currently in need of:

🍼 Puppy milk replacer formula
🥫 Wet puppy food
🐶 Dry puppy food (for both the puppies and mama)

At this time, physical supplies are the biggest help, and we’re happy to arrange local drop-offs or meet-ups. While we’re not actively seeking monetary donations, we do have a Cash App available for those who find that easier.

Thank you for helping us make sure these nine little ones continue to grow strong and healthy while their mama focuses on healing. ❤️

Some dogs need a couch. Some dogs need a mountain. 🏔️🐾

Today, Keira joined me and my boy Enoch for a run through the mountains with beautiful Mount Shasta standing tall in the background. Adventures like these do so much more than burn energy!! They help rescue dogs build confidence, decompress, and simply enjoy being dogs.

Watching Keira run, explore, and take in the world around her is a reminder of why rescue matters. Every dog deserves the chance to feel safe, loved, and free.

Until she returns to her family, we’ll keep making memories and helping her become the best version of herself. ❤️

One of our last walks together with both Nala and Keira. ❤️

We’re so excited because Nala is being reunited with her owner; where she belongs! While we’ll miss having her around, there is nothing better than seeing a dog get a happy ending and return to the people who love her.

The puppies have officially arrived! 💙🐶

Momma YahYah did an absolutely amazing job and welcomed NINE beautiful puppies into the world! Every single baby is healthy, loved, and already 100% adorable. 🥹

We are so thankful everything went smoothly, and Momma is resting comfortably while soaking up all the puppy cuddles. These little nuggets are already stealing hearts left and right. 🐾✨
