Huge gratitude to everyone who came out to celebrate our harvest, and to every volunteer who rolled up their sleeves to start laying the groundwork for next growing season. This is what mutual aid looks like: neighbors feeding neighbors, and hands in the soil planning for a future we're building together.

OhioCAN - International Overdose Awareness Day Event

Thursday, August 27th, 6 - 9 PM

Join us as we recognize International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD), a global event dedicated to raising awareness of overdose, reducing the stigma surrounding drug-related deaths, and remembering the lives that have been lost.

This meaningful evening offers families, friends, and our community an opportunity to come together in remembrance—without stigma, shame, or judgment—and to share the important message that overdose deaths are preventable.

Speakers will begin at 8:00 PM.

We invite you to join us as we remember those we have lost, support those who grieve, and bring hope and awareness to our community.

This Monday you packed West Side Bowl for Dungeons & Debt Relief at the Westside Bowl — and together we ERASED over **$180,000 in local medical debt in a single night.**

That's what neighbors supporting neighbors looks like. That's the real mutual aid this valley needs, and you showed up for it.

But we're not done. Mahoning County carries over **$12.5 million in medical debt** weighing on more than **18,800 of our neighbors** — and we're on a mission to wipe out every dollar of it by **October 31st.**

Dungeons & Debt Relief is a live-action improv comedy fundraiser inspired by Dungeons & Dragons. Watch as adventurers embark on an unpredictable quest filled with storytelling, character battles, audience interaction, and plenty of laughs — all while raising funds to help erase medical debt.

Every dollar raised supports the Community Liberation Foundation’s Erase the Debt Campaign in partnership with . On average, every $1 raised can abolish $100 of medical debt, turning collective action into real relief for families in our community.
