Our 10U year is finally underway and what a way to get it started!

We kicked off the season playing in the 10U Season Opener Invitational hosted by Rock Solid and despite getting off to a rocky start in pool play yesterday, the boys came out bringing it today…from being the last seed after yesterday to making it to the championship today, we couldn’t be prouder of these boys 👏🏻

10 hours spent at the ball field today and 3 games later and we’re going home as Runner Up with a ring to show for it 💍

It wasn’t the ending we wanted and we fell short in the championship game. But these boys had an AMAZING year!

A year ago we were holding tryouts for this brand new team. Only two of our boys had ever played travel ball prior to joining this team. Today we were playing in a championship game. This team has come so far in the past 12 months and we can’t wait to see what the future holds. This weekend has been the best way to wrap up our 9U year.

It’s been nearly 7 weeks since our 9U Canes boys have taken the field in a Canes uniform. But that doesn’t mean they haven’t been playing a lot of baseball. Many of them have been playing for our local York County Little League All-Star teams in the District and State tournaments ⭐️❤️⭐️💙⭐️

Tomorrow they’ll all be back in the Canes uniform for our final 9U tournament at The Shipyard Park in Charleston, SC. But before we take on one last 9U tournament, we want to congratulate our players and coaches who made the YCLL All-Star teams. Both of these teams won their Virginia District 7 Tournament and traveled to compete in their Virginia State Tournament.

Last night was our last huddle for a while 🧡🖤

These boys have been playing some awesome baseball together the last couple of months but now they’re taking a hiatus from travel ball to focus on their local Little League All-Star teams. After All-Stars, they’ll be back together for one last tournament at the end of July at Shipyard Park in Charleston, SC to wrap up their 9U season.

Congrats boys. Go kill it in All-Stars! We’re so proud of you ⚾️

Summer Slam 9U Gold Bracket Champions ⚾️

The boys battled the heat all weekend and came out on top today in their bracket, winning the championship game 18-1 to take home some bling 💍 They all came out hitting and deserved every bit of this championship today. Way to go boys! 🩷⚾️🩵

First time being tournament champions since we started this team is in the books!

Let us introduce you to the Memorial Day Classic 9U Silver Bracket Champs 🥇⚾️💍

These boys were at the ball field from 11:00 this morning until 10:00 tonight playing baseball. 5 games in 2 days and they played their hearts out. We couldn’t be prouder of each and every single one of them. Way to go boys 👏🏻

Shout out to the Southside Crew baseball organization for hosting an amazing tournament and putting in tremendous effort to get all of the fields game ready today after the overnight rain. We had an absolute blast!
