York Saint Patrick's Day Parade Annual celebration of Celtic heritage in downtown York, PA, with special events before and after the parade. Registration deadline will be in mid-February.

Parade steps off 1:00 PM from Market and Penn Streets (in front of the Market & Penn Farmers Market), proceeding east on Market to Duke. Approximately 100 entries take part in this annual celebration of Celtic heritage, including bands, Irish dance groups, floats, antique and decorated vehicles, clowns, individuals and family groups, organizations, and media entries. Enjoy entertainment, Irish dance performances, children’s activities, and merchant promotions at many locations before and after the parade. As a community service, White Rose Community Television (Comcast Channel 18) televises the parade live each year, and also makes it available online as a Video on Demand afterward (www.WRCT.tv). Registration information for the 37th Annual York Saint Patrick's Day Parade will be available in mid January. Follow the parade on Twitter:

Please let us know if you would like to help organize next year's parade. (We work on this year-round.)

A HUGE thank you to Gift Horse Brewing Company for hosting us and helping make our Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day celebration so much fun!

And of course, thank you to The Bottomfeeders for keeping the party going with great music and bringing so much energy to the afternoon! And to the The Kiltie Band of York for stopping by and providing the sounds of St. Patrick’s Day.

We’re incredibly grateful for the support of our community, friends, and everyone who came out to celebrate with us. Events like this are what make the York St. Patrick’s Day Parade more than just a parade—they’re about bringing people together and celebrating our amazing community all year long.

We hope to see you downtown today for the York St. Patrick’s Day Parade!

The fun starts early with pre-parade entertainment beginning at 11 AM, featuring lively Irish dance group performances around the city and music by York College’s WVYC Radio Station. Check out our free KidsZone on the square sponsored by Downtown Inc.

Then at 1 PM, the parade steps off with floats, bands, non profit groups, local businesses…..It’s fun for the whole family.

Our Grand Marshal is the one and only Kevin Schreiber- President/CEO of the York County Economic Alliance.

We’re also excited for a special appearance by the legendary Uptown Mummers String Band—you won’t want to miss them!
