Just because our 2025–2026 season has ended, it doesn't mean the fun stops! Like the Energizer Bunny, our ladies just keep on going.

On June 1, they enjoyed a special musical event: the Silver, Wood & Ivory concert. It was performed by two very talented women in a private Lancaster home using 19 flutes and recorders, a piano, a harp, and a keyboard. As if that wasn't enough, there was also delicious food and AMAZING GARDENS. It was an absolutely lovely day!

THEY'RE AT IT AGAIN! The Daytrippers headed off to the Conestoga Gardens in Lancaster for a fabulous June adventure, followed by an equally awesome lunch at Tobias Frogg. What a beautiful day and a lovely way to spend it with our fellow WFCY ladies!

WOW! What a fantastic way to wrap up the 2025–2026 season!

Our final luncheon of the season was filled with celebration, recognition, and giving back to the community.

We were honored to conduct the Installation of Officers, recognize our newly elected officers, and acknowledge the dedicated individuals who will serve as our Standing Committee Chairs for the upcoming year.

In addition, we were thrilled to present $2,500 donations to each of this year's deserving recipients:

✨ Big Brothers Big Sisters of South-Central PA — accepted by Amanda Dunn
✨ 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue — accepted by Mike Reif and Stacy Helbig

Thank you to everyone who helped make this season such a success. We are proud to support these outstanding organizations and look forward to another year of service, leadership, and community impact! 🎉💙

On May 20th, 12 of the Daytrippers took a trip to Ashcombe Nursery to make a porch pot. Altho, a little warm to be hanging in a greenhouse, it was still a fabulous day. The instructor made sure our ladies all knew the basics of doing a planter of flowers...thrill, fill and spill. After making porch pots there was some shopping in the store and then over to TJ Rockwell's for lunch. Special thanks to Judy Whitecomb for putting together yet another great day trip.
