We lost another one of our brothers. R.I.P. Rick.
Rickie G. Rupert, 70, passed away January 17, 2026. Born in York, PA on July 4, 1955, he was the son of the late William and Thelma Rupert.
Rickie retired from York Prison where he served as a correction officer. He graduated from Dover High School.
Rickie leaves to cherish his memory, his companion, Shelia Ruth; children Amy Kauffman and husband Eric and Brian Rupert. He was preceded in death by siblings, Terry Rupert and Randy Rupert.
Services will be private.

Kelly Francis V. McKenna, 53, of York, Pa., passed away at his home on January 19, 2026, following a courageous health battle.

A visitation will be held Saturday, January 24, 2026 at John W. Keffer Funeral Home, 2114 W. Market St., York, PA 17404. A private visitation will take place from 9:30–10:00 a.m., followed by visitation open to family and friends from 10:00–11:00 a.m. A small service for those in attendance will be held at 11:00 a.m. A celebration of Kelly’s life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Kelly’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

It is with heavy heart that I announce the passing of former C.O. & I.C.E. Agent Kelly McKenna.
