Dear family and friends:

Greetings! We are well into the holiday season, but it’s not too late to get into the spirit of giving! Make your tax deductible donation to the CSUF Stephanie Hernandez Memorial Scholarship today! All donations go directly toward scholarships for CSUF Nursing students who are in financial need and meet the SHMSF scholarship selection criteria.

Once again, we are asking for your consideration in making an ONLINE donation in support of our Stephanie Hernandez Memorial Scholarship. Donations of any amount are welcomed. You will receive a receipt for your donation directly from the CSUF's Philanthropic Foundation which is a registered 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit Organization. Tax ID. 33-0567945.

We thank you in advance for your personal heartfelt and thoughtful donation. Your support will help us continue keeping our Stephanie's legacy and memory alive. We planted a tree in Stephanie's honor at Chaparral Park in Anaheim, California. This is a park that served as the venue for many family BBQs and "get togethers". We hope that this tree will continue to grow and provide shade and beauty in Stephanie's memory long after we're gone.

From the Hernandez Family:

I want to take time and say thank you to everyone who contributed and volunteered in our Third Annual Stephanie Hernandez Memorial Family and Friends Reunion on April 12, 2014. We are so grateful for your generosity and efforts, that resulted in such a successful event!

This year we were able to raise over 4,300 dollars which will be given to high school and college students through the Stephanie Hernandez Memorial Scholarship! This is an increase from last year and we couldn't be more excited!

I must admit that there we're times I felt that we could not pull it off, but with the help, motivation, and encouragement from all of you, we made it happen!

We will continue to have these events and will begin planning early to ensure that our next one is even better than the last! I will not give up on my promise...

To all of our followers: The 3rd Annual Stephanie Hernandez Memorial Scholarship Family and Friends Reunion is on April 12, 2014 at 11am!

This will be an afternoon of fun, food, raffles, games, entertainment, and raising funds for the scholarship!

The suggested donation is $20 ($10 for children 11 and under) and it gets you a T-Shirt, BBQ Lunch, and access to all the fun, games, and entertainment!

If you are interested in attending the event, please see the attached flyer for additional information about the event and who to contact!

REMINDER: The SHMF Fundraiser is in only 17 days!!! The t-shirts are in and ready for all of you! If you are planning on coming to the the fundraiser on the 22nd and would like to submit your donation before the day of the event, contact me (Cristina Perez) or any of the other contacts on the flyer to find out how you can get your t-shirt now!! You can also give your donation and pick-up your tee on the day of the event, but remember, supplies are limited! Hope to see you all there!!
