Thank you for showing up, wearing pink, and lifting one another with compassion and strength. ​Join us at the New Rochelle YMCA on Saturday, October 24th for our Breast Cancer Awareness Basketball Event! Let’s come together for a fun-filled day of hoops, community, and support for those affected by breast cancer.
​📅 Event Schedule:
​🏀 12:00 PM – 3 on 3 Basketball (3rd – 5th Grade)
​🏀 1:00 PM – 3 on 3 Basketball (6th – 8th Grade)
​🏀 2:00 PM – 1 on 1 Basketball (High School)
​🎉 Plus so much more throughout the day:
🎟️ 50/50 Raffle
🎨 Y-Play Lab (Fun, creative activities for kids & families)
🤝 Community resources
🍔 Snacks & food available for purchase
​💗 Making an Impact: A portion of proceeds will be donated to a breast cancer awareness group to support research, patient services, and awareness initiatives.

🏀 Building Community, One Hoops Session at a Time! 🏀
We are incredibly proud of the recent Yonkers YMCA Hoop Summit, made possible through our amazing partnership with PS Charities! Over five impactful weeks, local teens aged 15–18 came out to sharpen their skills, compete, and build lasting connections.
Here is a quick look at what we accomplished together:
• 7-Week Skills Clinic: High-level training led by professional coaching to develop the next generation of athletes.
• Intense Competition: Elite 1v1 and 3v3 tournaments that pushed players to showcase their best talent.
• Rewarding Excellence: Winning players took home big prizes, including a $600 team prize and guided Foot Locker shopping sprees with YMCA staff.
A massive thank you to PS Charities for their continued dedication to empowering youth in Yonkers! Their support provides our community's teens with safe spaces, mentorship, and life-changing opportunities.
We also want to recognize our incredible community partners who helped bring this event to life: SNUG Street Outreach, NYS OASAS, and Westchester County.
Together, we are investing in the future of our youth. Stay tuned for what's next! 🌟
