End of April and the beginning of May, we were blessed with a new little CH kitten. We named her Eve and she was 8 months old when she got here and she is a doll. Cute as a button with a Calico attitude.... Since she was found out side and she was impregnated by a tom cat she is very leery of other cats for fear they will attack her. We are working to help her overcome that and have her outside of her playpen area as often as we can. She moves around by flopping as she has very limited control of her legs other that batting at string toys. We will get there with her, we just know it will take time. She has already seen the neurologist, and we did some extra work on her and we want to thank the followers that donated to her visit as it turned out to be over $4,000.
And a little over a week went by and we had another senior kitty join the household. Gemma came from our friends at Blue Mountain Humane Society in Walla Walla (I just have to say this as it is something that goes through my mind every time I say or hear or type Walla Walla. Itβs an old joke but those are the best ones, right? Ready??? Walla Walla is a town so popular they named it twice....Dad joke #4652.) A beautiful senior lady picked up as a stray with hyperthyroidism and early renal (kidney) disease. She is adjusting to the upstairs group as she looks like she loves to explore her surroundings.
