Update on the group of kitties not eating....

All are eating now, some more than others.

Cooper: still hit and miss but more hit than miss...

Twitch: Like Cooper, she is hit and miss. Loves her Churro treats and fish flavored treats. Still a work in progress.

Earl: He is the concerning one. Will just nibble at food but never clean his bowl. We thought he might be fighting a cold but no sneeze/discharge from his nose. We gave him an appetite stimulant and all it did was make him really really antsy and crying. When offered food he would take a bite then start wandering and crying so no more Mirtazapine for him.

Sterling: He is almost back to normal and LOVES his chicken mousse

Thank all of you for your purr-prayers for these guys as we are slowly improving with all of them except Earl.

Cooper has begun to wander outside of his "Home" base and we are seeing him in the bedroom more and more often. We figure the reason is he now has a roommate in Gemma so he feels safer with the bedroom kitties than Gemma.... 😻😻😻

AND he has the biggest ears....πŸ’žπŸ˜»πŸ’ž

End of April and the beginning of May, we were blessed with a new little CH kitten. We named her Eve and she was 8 months old when she got here and she is a doll. Cute as a button with a Calico attitude.... Since she was found out side and she was impregnated by a tom cat she is very leery of other cats for fear they will attack her. We are working to help her overcome that and have her outside of her playpen area as often as we can. She moves around by flopping as she has very limited control of her legs other that batting at string toys. We will get there with her, we just know it will take time. She has already seen the neurologist, and we did some extra work on her and we want to thank the followers that donated to her visit as it turned out to be over $4,000.

And a little over a week went by and we had another senior kitty join the household. Gemma came from our friends at Blue Mountain Humane Society in Walla Walla (I just have to say this as it is something that goes through my mind every time I say or hear or type Walla Walla. It’s an old joke but those are the best ones, right? Ready??? Walla Walla is a town so popular they named it twice....Dad joke #4652.) A beautiful senior lady picked up as a stray with hyperthyroidism and early renal (kidney) disease. She is adjusting to the upstairs group as she looks like she loves to explore her surroundings.

We want to thank the people who donated cash and product this month:

Donna S.
Dian T.
Bertha S. & Co-Workers
Shannon P.
Ruth L.
Irv M.
Charlene B.
Lee S.
Michael P.
Sue A.
Will Y.
Mary C.
Lauren Z.
Clemi P.
Gere R.

If we have missed anyone we apologize and let us know and we will include you next month if you want.

We also want to thank our corporate supporters as well.
Visbiome Vet
Four Paws
Mr. Appliance of Olympia

And we want to send a special thanks and congratulations to our FKM Bertha, who retired last month, and we look forward to hearing about her adventures and travels..... We are counting the days before she comes to visit....

Did you know that June is Adopt A Shelter Cat month?

So, if you're looking for a wonderful kitty to be part of your family, we ask that you look to your local shelter for them. And when you do look, look for a senior. It is kitten season and sadly, seniors get overlooked as well as being the first to be euthanized for space.

We know kittens are cute and all, but seniors need a resting place as well and you can provide it for them.

All seniors have a story that go with them about their past.....

So make their final chapter about your love for them...πŸ’žπŸ˜»πŸ’žπŸ˜»πŸ’žπŸ˜»πŸ’ž
