💙 Vermillion Rotary Club Members Put Service Into Action! 💙

Small acts of service can make a big difference in our community!

Following their regular weekly meeting, a dozen members of the Vermillion Rotary Club rolled up their sleeves to pack 500 hygiene kits for the food pantry at Feeding Vermillion.

The supplies were purchased by Katelyn Oyen, founder of the Empower Hygiene Project, using funds generously donated by Vermillion Rotarians.

👏 Thank you to the Vermillion Rotarians and Katelyn Oyen for working together to help meet an important community need. By combining generosity with hands-on service, Rotarians are making a meaningful difference in the lives of their neighbors!

Join the Sioux Falls Rotary - South on October 20 at 5:30 PM for a community walk at Lake Ole Park in Harrisburg!

Meet us at the Lake Ole Park picnic shelter and walk one mile around Lake Ole as we come together to raise awareness and support three important causes:

🍦🚲 Safety + Service + Ice Cream!

The Luverne MN Rotary Club is helping keep local kids safe as they ride e-bikes, scooters and bicycles around town!

Rotary donated $250 for popsicles and ice cream vouchers, plus free helmets for kids who need one. Deputies will reward young riders they spot wearing a helmet and riding safely with an ice cream voucher. 🪖🍦

It’s a fun way to encourage good safety habits and support Luverne’s kids — one helmet and one popsicle at a time!

That’s Service Above Self in action! ❤️

🎾 Making the Game More Enjoyable in Canton!

Canton, SD Rotary members were out putting service into action today, installing windbreak screens around the community pickleball courts! With help from employees of Canton Agri Science, the screens are now in place and will remain up year-round—helping players enjoy the courts even on those windy days. 💨

This project is another great example of Service Above Self and what can happen when Rotarians and community partners work together.

A special thank you to all of our donors and to everyone who supports Canton Rotary by purchasing raffle tickets and football books from our Rotarians. Your support helps make projects like this possible and allows us to continue investing in our community.

💙 Service Above Self in Action!

Rushmore Rotary members rolled up their sleeves Tuesday to support Love Inc. as part of United Way’s Month of Caring! Rotarians helped haul donations, paint cabinets, and sort socks and Christmas items—pitching in wherever they were needed to help make a difference in the Black Hills community.

The District appreciates Rushmore Rotary for putting Service Above Self into action and thanks Love Inc. and all of the United Way agencies for the important work they do to support individuals and families throughout our community.
