🌿👏 A Big Shoutout to Northern Black Hills Rotary! 👏🌿

Making a difference starts with showing up—and that's exactly what the members of Northern Black Hills Rotary did during this month's Beautify Spearfish Cleanup!

A special thank you goes to newest member Angela Smith for coordinating this impactful community service project. With 15 dedicated volunteers lending a hand, the team collected two very full bags of trash and uncovered some unexpected treasures along the way, including a saw, a gutter, a mattress topper, a metal cable, and an impressive 79 golf balls (78 whole and 2 halves—we're rounding up! ⛳😄).

Projects like this demonstrate Rotary's commitment to keeping our communities clean, beautiful, and welcoming for everyone. Thank you to Angela and all the volunteers who put Service Above Self into action!

This Memorial Day weekend, members of the Rushmore Rotary honored our nation’s heroes through a powerful act of remembrance and respect.

Rotarians spent time at the Black Hills National Cemetery placing American flags on the graves of veterans who served our country with courage and sacrifice. ❤️🤍💙

Their dedication helps ensure that the legacy of these brave men and women is never forgotten. Thank you, Rushmore Rotary, for exemplifying Service Above Self and honoring those who gave so much for our freedom.

The Northern Black Hills Rotary recently rolled up their sleeves for a community clean-up at Rotary Park — proving that even a little dirt can go a long way in making a big impact. 🪻

From clearing and beautifying the park to sharing laughs and fellowship afterward over drinks and snacks, it was an evening filled with service, connection, and community spirit.

The Brookings Rotary is proud to support the next generation of leaders by awarding scholarships to six outstanding area high school seniors! Each student will receive a $2,000 scholarship to attend South Dakota State University this fall.

Rotary Watertown SD recently spent time at The Village of Harmony Hill, sharing music, fellowship, and meaningful moments with residents. Through songs, smiles, and conversation, Rotarians brought joy and connection to some of the community’s most cherished neighbors.

Service doesn’t always have to be large-scale to make a difference. Sometimes, a simple visit, a shared laugh, or a familiar song can have a lasting impact.
