Serving Our Community, One Grocery Box at a Time! ❤️

Rushmore Rotary members enjoyed a beautiful evening of service volunteering with Feeding South Dakota!

During these monthly volunteer opportunities, Rotarians and community volunteers help distribute groceries by loading food directly into the vehicles of neighbors who need a little extra support.

It’s a simple act of service that makes a meaningful difference — and a wonderful way to put Service Above Self into action. Thank you to everyone who gave their time to help fight hunger in our community!

The International Convention Committee recently met in Minneapolis and unanimously selected the city to recommend to the Rotary International Board of Directors as the host of the 2028 Rotary International Convention! 🌎💙

👥 Goal: 20,000 Rotarians and guests!

🎒 Helping Kids Start the School Year Strong! ✏️

The Rotary Club of Cherokee, Iowa is proud to support Mid-Sioux Opportunity’s Back-to-School Backpack Program! This year, our members donated 47 backpacks filled with notebooks, markers, colored pencils, crayons, glue, pencils, and pens.

A big thank-you to our generous Rotary members for helping local students head back to school prepared and ready to learn! ❤️📚

Volunteer for the 2028 Rotary International Convention in Minneapolis! May roles will be a light lift, like working at a Host Organizing Committee table, working the registration booth, helping members with the convention app, etc.
📅 Volunteer dates: May 26–31, 2028 (many roles start May 26, the day before Convention kicks off)
📝 Interested? Email your name, email, and club name to [email protected] — they'll keep you in the loop as details roll out
🎟️ Note: volunteers will need to register for the Convention to attend sessions (registration opens June 2027)
