Potato Pants Yakima

A few weeks ago, the new logo for Potato Pants was revealed. The logo can be adapted to your local mascot/ symbol - just use the seal, put your location name and put Potato Pants on your mascot/ symbol. Now - here is the new Potato Pants Yakima logo!

The 1967 film of a Bigfoot was shot by Roger Patterson and Robert Gimlin - both are Yakima area natives. So, what better mascot than the Big Man himself!

Last spring, Potato Pants Yakima was able to get footage of Bigfoot in Potato Pants! He is a "Big" supporter! (See the Breaking News feed below).

If you haven't done the Potato Pants Challenge yet - here's an idea. With Labor Day BBQs coming up, take a pair of sweatpants, duct tape and 20 # of potatoes and have everyone do the Potato Pants Challenge. Then you can make Potato Salad afterwards!

Film it and post it! Thanks and have a great, Potato Pants-filled, weekend.

What? Got all those potatoes now and not sure what to do with them? Eat them!
Here are some recipe ideas on what to do with them:

Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew.

Announcing the Potato Pants Challenge. Please join the Potato Pants Challenge. Get a baggy pair of sweats/pants/bibs, close the bottom (duct tape works well), stuff them with 20 # of potatoes, walk/ do normal every-day stuff, film it, donate for research, then post your reel and challenge others to do the same. All to try to simulate the extra effort/ instability that those with PLS/HSP live with all-day, every day.

You can learn more about and how to do the Challenge, by going to the Potato Pants Challenge Facebook site:

Thanks

Potato Pants has a new logo. The Potato in this logo can be switched out with your local image/ mascot. Potato Pants Yakima has been borrowing a logo from a Potato Pants Festival in England (thank you Ian) for the last 2 years, but we will be going to a new logo using this as the base, but replacing the potato with a Yakima "native." Stay tuned for our new logo...
