Congratulations Brittany Leeann

On Her UpComing Three Years Clean Birthday ❤️‍🩹

Brittany Shares:

There was a time in my life when drugs took everything from me. They stole my peace, my self-worth, my relationships, and nearly convinced me that I would never have a future worth fighting for. I spent a few years believing I had destroyed too much and lost too much to ever get anything back.
Today, WE celebrate 3 years clean, living a life I once thought was impossible. Recovery has given me more than being clean, it has given me purpose, gratitude, and the chance to be the mother my children deserve. My kids are my greatest blessing and one of the biggest reasons I continue to grow every day. The life I have today isn’t perfect, but it’s real, it’s beautiful, and it’s built on hard work, faith, and perseverance.
If my story proves anything, it’s that no matter how far down you fall, there is always a way back up. Never give up on yourself. The person you are meant to become may be waiting on the other side of the hardest battle you’ll ever have to fight. Today, I am grateful, I am free, and I absolutely love the life I get to live.

Yesterday's event was a HUGE moment for Yakima County Drug Court team nothing like this has ever happened before, we are overwhelmed with gratitude after hosting an incredible recovery event that brought nearly 300 people together in support of hope, healing, & second chances.

We had eight remarkable alumni from various counties across Washington state here today. Three incredible speakers, judges, prosecuting attorneys, treatment providers, community organizations, & even members of the Yakima County sheriff’s department.

The Yakima community’s overwhelming turnout & love were beyond our expectations.
We are so grateful & thankful to every person who showed up, stood beside us ❤️‍🩹

Thank you WA State Therapeutic Courts Alumni Association for allow allowing us to host such a powerful event. & allowing us to celebrate the therapeutic courts this year.

7 years clean today. 💜
There was a time in my life when I was homeless, lost in addiction, and fighting to survive. I lost my children to CPS and I honestly didn’t know if I would ever make it out of that darkness. But I kept fighting, even on the days I wanted to give up. In June 2021, I graduated Drug Court, and that moment changed my life forever. Today I stand here proud, healed, stronger, and present for my kids and myself. Recovery is possible, and this picture is proof that people can change, grow, and rebuild their lives no matter how far down they’ve fallen. I’ll never forget where I came from, I’m so proud of where I am today.

We used to dream about a better life—now we’re waking up and building it, one day at a time. The feeling isn’t just hope anymore… it’s real, and it’s ours to keep chasing.

The Yakima County Drug Court Alumni Group is more than just a gathering—it’s a living reminder of how far we’ve come and what’s still possible. We come together over meals, laughter, and shared stories, building connections that strengthen our commitment to recovery.

Every meeting is a chance to support one another, to keep chasing the life we once thought was out of reach.

There was a time when sobriety felt like just a dream—something distant, almost impossible. Today, we are living proof that those dreams can become reality. And now, we don’t just hold onto sobriety—we chase after purpose, stability, and the future we deserve with the same determination that got us here.

In this group, no one walks alone. We celebrate progress, lift each other up through challenges, and remind one another that the feeling of pursuing your dreams—clear-minded and present—is worth everything. Recovery didn’t just give us our lives back; it gave us the chance to dream again, and the courage to go after those dreams together.
