An important and rare occasion to meet the legislators of districts 14 and 15. They will be appearing for two nights, one in Yakima and the next in Toppen*sh. Mark your calendar.

A huge thank you to the Washington Women's Foundation for inviting Rural Americans United to their Yakima event. This incredible group is launching a “placement” grant based on the idea of proximity. They want to give in a way that builds community, and to do that, they are taking the time to truly understand the communities they support rather than remaining bystanders.

It was an honor to be invited to participate in the early stages of this initiative in Central Washington.

Community voices are central to our Make Rural Voices Count billboard project. We are placing thirty billboards across Central Washington this year, with more planned for 2027 and 2028.

We are hosting a community billboard design event on Saturday, April 11, from 10 AM to 2 PM at Snipes Mountain Restaurant in Sunnyside.

Twenty five percent of the national debt is attributed to one president who did nothing to improve this country’s infrastructure or the lives of its citizens. No other president has enriched himself during his time in office the way he has. Now he is asking for another $200 billion.
