There isn’t just one way to support Fresh Start Collaborative.

Maybe you have household items, clothing, furniture, baby gear, or other essentials that could serve another family.

Maybe you have a few hours to spend sorting donations, organizing the resource center, or volunteering alongside a group. Or maybe a monetary gift is the easiest way for you to help.

Give items. Give time. Give financially.

Each form of generosity helps Fresh Start continue providing practical resources and support to people throughout our community.

How you give is up to you. What matters is what we can make possible together.

Babies need a lot, and for families navigating a transition, gathering all of those essentials at once can feel overwhelming.

Fresh Start Collaborative is looking for baby and children’s items to help local families have the things they need to care for their little ones. Current needs include swings, bouncers, cribs, car seats, children’s books, wipes, diapers, and other baby essentials.

If your family has outgrown items that still have plenty of life left in them, consider giving them a new purpose. Your donation could be exactly what another local family needs right now.

When you donate to Fresh Start Collaborative, your generosity is meant to help people, not generate a profit.

Items donated to Fresh Start will never be resold. Usable donations are provided to individuals and families who need them through our resource center.

And if something can’t be used by Fresh Start, we’re committed to handling it responsibly. Items will be ethically recycled when possible or re-donated so they have another opportunity to serve a purpose.

Your donation may be something you’re finished with, but that doesn’t mean its usefulness has to end there.

An empty house and a home can feel very different.

Fresh Start Collaborative helps local individuals and families access household essentials as they work toward greater stability, and larger furniture can be an important part of making a new space functional and comfortable.

We’re looking for couches, dressers, dining tables, chairs, beds, and other quality household furniture. If you’re replacing furniture, moving, downsizing, or simply have pieces you no longer need, consider donating them instead of letting them go unused.

Something that no longer fits your home could help someone else begin filling theirs.

A strong community is built on people showing up for one another.

Sometimes that looks like donating a couch you no longer need. Sometimes it’s giving a few hours of your time. Sometimes it’s simply connecting someone with a resource that can help them move forward.

Fresh Start Collaborative exists because our community continues to give, share, volunteer, and care. Together, we can make sure individuals and families navigating difficult transitions don’t have to figure out every next step alone.

When our community takes care of each other, everyone is stronger for it.

Having the right supplies can make a student feel a little more prepared and confident when they walk into the classroom.

Fresh Start Collaborative is accepting school supplies to help local children and families access the everyday essentials they need for school. Backpacks, notebooks, folders, pencils, pens, crayons, markers, binders, and other classroom basics can all add up quickly for a family.

Consider grabbing a few extras during your next shopping trip or organizing a school supply drive with your workplace, club, church, or community group.

A small donation can help make sure a local student has what they need to focus on learning.

Looking for a service project that gets your whole group involved?

Fresh Start Collaborative welcomes group volunteer opportunities for high school leadership classes, ASB groups, clubs, workplace teams, businesses, organizations, and other groups that want to give back together.

Spend a few hours helping sort and organize donations, or talk with us about creating an ongoing service opportunity for your team. A business could even choose to make Fresh Start part of its routine by volunteering together once a month or on a regular schedule.

It’s a hands-on way to build teamwork while doing something meaningful for people right here in our community.

A fresh start often comes with a new space to care for, and that means having the basic supplies to keep it clean.

Fresh Start Collaborative is currently in desperate need of household cleaning supplies. New cleaning products, sponges, brushes, trash bags, paper products, and other household essentials can help individuals and families feel more prepared as they settle into their next chapter.

A few extra items in your shopping cart can go directly toward helping someone in our community.
