Food doesn’t nourish us until we consume it. Holding an apple in your hand will give you no health benefit. 🍎

It has to go from outside of us to inside of us.

God’s Word is the same way - we can’t simply hold the Bible in our hands (physically or digitally) and expect it to nourish us.

It has to make into us - by reading it, listening to it, memorizing it and letting it drive our actions.

In Matthew 4:4, Jesus teaches us that the very words of God provide spiritual nourishment.

Lord, help me seek not just physical nourishment, but spiritual nourishment from Your Word today. Amen. 🙏

Life is often filled with shades of gray—moral ambiguities, confusing situations, and hidden motives. It's natural to search for solid ground, for something or someone completely trustworthy. John offers us this unwavering truth: God is light; in Him, there is no darkness at all.

This isn't merely a poetic image; it's a foundational truth about God's very nature. He is pure, holy, and utterly without darkness. While we often grapple with uncertainties and hidden flaws, God stands apart—completely good, entirely trustworthy.

Consider this: the same God who banished the darkness of creation cares deeply about the shadows in your life. Whether you're facing ethical dilemmas, relational conflicts, or the darkness of despair, your help comes from the Light. He isn't distant or indifferent. He's right here, ready to illuminate your path, expose hidden truths, and lead you into His perfect light.

Today, whatever shades of gray you're facing, remember to turn towards the Light. His truth isn't just coming; it's already here, radiating from the heart of a loving Father who dispels all darkness. Your help, your hope, your way forward—it all begins with Him.

🙏 Prayer of the Day
Dear Father,

Sometimes, the shadows of doubt and confusion feel so close, threatening to overwhelm me and steal my hope. But today, I choose to lift my eyes to You, the Light that shines in the darkness, the Truth that sets me free.

You are more radiant than any shadow, stronger than any deception, and more loving than I can fully grasp. Thank you for being my guiding light, my unshakeable anchor, my ever-present help. Please fill me with Your clarity, and give me the courage to walk in Your truth, knowing that Your light will always prevail.
