We had our last meeting of the 2025-2026 season this past Wednesday. Our club may not be large but we know how to have fun! Southern District Regional Trail Manager Jim Leighty awarded the “Groomer of the Year” award to Scott Webster! We were not able to groom much this year due to the lack of snow but when we did have it Scott groomed all 28 miles twice. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…I have the greatest members/volunteers! Thank you all for everything you all do!

All Rocky Run Riders Snowmobile Trails are closed for the season. Also Columbia County snowmobiles trails are closed for the season.

PSA- Even with the upcoming snow in the forecast Rocky Run Rider trails will remain closed. Grounds, lakes, marshes, swamps, and planted fields are no longer frozen. To much damage to winter crops would be done. I know everyone would love to get out and I apologize for that but I also have to think of our landowners and the future of our trails. I have seen posts from up north stating even they will not be re-opening.

Please stay off of all trails.

As always ditch riding is legal as long as you are the legal distance off of the roadway and within the right of way.

Rocky Run Trails continue to be closed. We have 4 confirmed landowners that will be deer hunting in the upcoming doe hunts. That is their right as a landowner! Please respect the club and the landowners decisions!

I have had multiple complaints about riders already…”ditch banging” is allowed if there is a right of way. Not all areas have large right of ways. We have had riders already tearing through residents yards and across their driveways. One even moved folks garbage cans to continue through their yard…this is not acceptable and will not be tolerated. A call has been made to the Columbia County DNR Warden so he can handle this poor behavior. We have also had folks on our closed trails…the Warden will be making a visit to your home tomorrow as your tracks lead right to and from it…again…all trails are closed!!! STAY OFF!!! We volunteers work our asses off and are really sick and tired of the people that want to ruin it for all the good folks out there.
