Club member Scott got a huge head start today! Mowed/Brushed 12hrs today and completed 1/4 of our trails! The weeds are tall this year! And if you are curious as to why we are already mowing…well we have a lot of landowners that are bow hunters and that season starts in a few weeks so we like to be in and out of there prior to the opening. Thanks to all of them that continue to let us use their lands! “Together we trail…divided we fail!”

Got the girls fired up today! Mowers put on the tractor and ready to start mowing this week!

We had our last meeting of the 2025-2026 season this past Wednesday. Our club may not be large but we know how to have fun! Southern District Regional Trail Manager Jim Leighty awarded the “Groomer of the Year” award to Scott Webster! We were not able to groom much this year due to the lack of snow but when we did have it Scott groomed all 28 miles twice. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…I have the greatest members/volunteers! Thank you all for everything you all do!

PSA- Even with the upcoming snow in the forecast Rocky Run Rider trails will remain closed. Grounds, lakes, marshes, swamps, and planted fields are no longer frozen. To much damage to winter crops would be done. I know everyone would love to get out and I apologize for that but I also have to think of our landowners and the future of our trails. I have seen posts from up north stating even they will not be re-opening.

Please stay off of all trails.

As always ditch riding is legal as long as you are the legal distance off of the roadway and within the right of way.

East Central RRR trails have been pulled! Thanks to John and Brayden for the help! Try it again next season!
