The Wynnewood Cub Scouts held their first annual Blue & Gold Ceremony and it was a HUGE hit! The kids absolutely LOVED Magic Joe with his magic tricks and balloon animals. We are still in disbelief over some of his surprises! Then, each Cub got to walk across the rank advancement bridge to receive their awards, rank badges, and new den gear. It was a proud moment for the Cubs, Cub Scout Leaders, and their families. Now, it is time to start working towards a whole new year of adventures!

On Tuesday, April 21st, the Wynnewood Cub Scouts Pack 79 hosted a free community Emergency Fair. Everyone had such a blast, Cubs, families, volunteers, and all!!! The Pack thanks each and every volunteer who put time and energy into providing fun, educational entertainment to the kids of our community. We have plans for a bigger and better event next year (not in April leading to us fighting the weather for permission 😂).

Dang those April Showers! We are ready for May Flowers! There has been a chance for chill and rain this Friday May 1st. It still shows some chance of rain and still a chill. Next Friday calls for much nicer weather. So, we are taking a chance and pushing the Fundraiser to NEXT FRIDAY, MAY 8th and it will be at the same time, 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Thank you for all of your support. If you could kindly spread the word, we would really appreciate it. See you next Friday!

A good day at the Council's Pinewood Derby race. Our AOL Lilly came home with 3rd place, our Webelo Daniel came home with 2nd place, our Wolf Skyleigh came home with 2nd as well!!!

Wynnewood Cub Scouts are so committed that even when they can't make it to clean up Wynnewood during the regular meeting time, some go and so it on their own afterwards!!! THAT is the Scout Way!

We had an absolute blast learning about science experiments tonight! We learned what a hypothesis is, the process of conducting an experiment, and even performed 4 of our own experiments!!! Such a fun meeting...especially for Bob the worm. He didn't get eaten by the sharks because the kids figured out how to save him.

Some of the kids were a little camera shy tonight. So, we didn't get a group photo with our tornados in a bottle, but they absolutely loved them. 🌪
