There is so much to be thankful for.
My family is thankful for the community that embraced us as we found peace here and tried to breathe again without my late husband.
Thankful for the authentic friends that have come along to make this mission a success for the last 4 years.
Thankful for the lives the Tri-Community has loved on and the grace neighbors have shown one another.
Together we have served families beyond our little town, state and even as far as El Salvador.
This is not one person’s doing, but all of you.
Each joyful contribution and countless hours of fulfilling volunteer “work”.
So let this be a reminder to you that you can make a difference larger than your own heart.

Since we’ve been on the topic of books & education lately, did you know we have at least eight Little Free Libraries in town?
Three official ones, according to the website, but several within a few blocks of each other.
This one on Dogwood often stocks brand new books for your little ones, including several I Can Read level readers, still sealed.
The LFL on Mojave Scenic Drive is a bit out on the outskirts, but has several dozen I Can Read readers and different genres to choose from.
Our local library accepts your gently-read books as well.
As the weather cools and your kiddos have less time to play outside, don’t forget to check out all the activities and crafts our local Branch has for everyone on a weekly basis.
Their next fun event is this Saturday the 12th, and the next big parking lot sale is the following week, September 19th.
