Psst.... hey you! I am trying to look distinguished in my video? Did it work? I have to try to look serious because these people named me Moose Tracks... can you believe it? Anyway, I am a member of the Ice Cream litter and we all look a little different so my rescuers are having trouble pinning down my breed. They never got to meet my parents because some bad people tossed us into a ditch and took off. I don't dwell on it too much because I've been told that I'm going to a nice place called Maine and that they have lots of snacks and love up there. Is that true? I'm only two months old so my new family is going to have to give me lots of potty breaks- someone who works outside the home all day probably wouldn't be the best fit. My new family is also going to have to show me the ropes because I haven't lived in a home yet- so potty training, crate training, leash walking- all of those things are going to be new. If you think you have the schedule and patience for me, hop on over to the Rescue Charlie's website and put in an application for me.... Moose Tracks!

We started fostering with Rescue Charlie’s Friends 5 summers ago. It was the best decision!

Our 2 rescue pups had been lucky enough to land in foster homes before we adopted them, and I knew it was something I wanted to do one day. Let today be the day you make that jump!! It truly is so rewarding to see dogs blossom in a home after coming out of the shelter. Opening your home for even a short period can help save a life!

Hello my name is Cookie Dough. I am a little confused by this lady talking about me and holding me up to the world.... I did hear something about play, naps, treats, and kisses. I do like those things. Are there more of those in my future? Anyway, I am two-months old and a mixed breed girl-if you look at my siblings you will see that it's hard to determine breed because we all look a little different. Anyway, I've been told I'm the cutest one so if you think you can get me outside to potty regularly, want to teach me new tricks like come, sit, and leash walking, and can help me get out my energy, head on over to the Charlie's website and fill out an application!

OMG 😍If ever there were an old man in a puppy's body..... Rocky Road is adorable! We cannot believe someone would dump this little dude and his siblings in a ditch but fate worked out in his favor because he will be coming to Maine in mid-June and his life is about to be GREAT! We are truly unsure on breed- if you scroll down our page you'll see his brother Sherbert and note that they do not look alike at all. Based on current weight, we anticipate they will be medium to large when full grown. We know Rocky is adorable BUT we do ask that you only fill out an application if you are prepared to take on puppy training and have a schedule that can accommodate a little's guy's bladder. If you aren't able to adopt but have the schedule for a pup, we encourage you to apply to foster. And if you can't do either of those things- share away because every share gets this guy closer to his home!

Sherbert is just as tasty as his name! Can you believe someone dumped this sweet boy in a ditch? Supppperrrr common down south and we are so grateful these guys were rescued. Breed? We are not sure- the littermates all look a little different. Some are sleek, some are scruffy. Based on current size, we believe they will be medium to large when full grown. Sherbert is currently in AL but will be coming to Maine in mid-June and we can't wait to snuggle him!

For your nightly enjoyment- here is Cupcake trying to master her foster kitties' cat toy. Cupcake is here in Maine, in foster, and enjoying all the summer adventures- romping in the backyard with her foster siblings, going on hikes in the woods, taking a swim in the lake- she's discovering how great life can be. Cupcake is a two-year-old Beagle mix that didn't have a great life prior to her arrival in Maine. She likely lived as a neglected yard dog. Which makes it especially great to see her thriving and happy in foster. We believe Cupcake would do best in a home with another playful dog to help build her confidence. Cupcake is available for meet and greets with approved adopters and so deserves to find her loving forever family.

Friends..... can we ask you a favor? You know what they say about black dogs- they notoriously take longer to get adopted than other dogs. Why? We don't know. If you watch this video of Pepper you can see that he is sweet, gentle, loving, and going to make an amazing best friend to an individual or family. He's a 3-month-old Lab mix and he is adorable- can you share his post to help him be seen? He's currently in AL but will be taking a freedom ride to Maine in less than two weeks. He's hoping there will be a family waiting for him up here in the north that will show him an amazing summer and provide a comfortable, loving forever home.

Peter says "Ma'am, please take me home and save me from the shelter!"

Well, Wendy didn't bring Peter home as she is at her max dog quota but she did help secure him a ride to Maine- this handsome and gentle 3-month-old Lab mix will be taking his freedom ride to Maine in less than two weeks. As you can see from the video, he's a bit shy in the scary shelter environment but such a sweet soul. He's going to make a family really happy! Could that family be yours?

Scuse me ma'am! Please stop talking so I can kiss your face- Katie.

Katie is estimated to be about 3-months-old. She's a mixed breed girl- we believe Border Collie- that is fluffy, kissable, and sweet. She's currently in AL but is coming north in mid-June. If you are looking for a fluffy pup and have the time, energy, and schedule for a puppy, head on over to our website and fill out an application. If you aren't in the market to adopt, please share this fuzzball so that her family can see her and fall in love!
