We are excited to share that HtN has been awarded a $4,000 grant from CORE in support of our mission to serve the community.

This generous grant will allow us to continue expanding our programs and providing vital resources for those who need them most.

Our sincere thanks to CORE for their commitment to strengthening our community, and congratulations to our team, CEO, Vince, and our grant writer, Charlie, who proudly accepted the award on behalf of HtN.

Shout-out to our volunteer math tutors who help kids with math during Math Tutoring at Library 21c every Wednesday afternoon from 3:30 - 6 p.m.! All grade levels are welcome and there is no cost (or registration). The groundbreaking for “A Place for Kids” childcare center in Cripple Creek has officially taken place! This is more than just a construction project, it’s the beginning of a stronger future for local families, workers, and children.

When the doors open, this center will provide safe, reliable childcare for nearly 60 kids in Phase One, supporting parents across every part of our workforce; from casino employees and teachers to first responders and small business owners. It will also grow into a hub for learning, creativity, and community connection as future phases are completed.

We at HtN are proud to be both a supporter and funder of this project. Together, we’re investing in families, in opportunity, and in the future of southern Teller County. 💙
