The Northern Trust Open is one of the most respected and revered tournaments on the PGA TOUR schedule. In fact, it is the oldest civic sponsored event on the PGA TOUR. Held at the Riviera Country Club in the Los Angeles area, it attracts one of the best fields in professional golf. Since its inception in 1926, it has developed one of golf's most storied histories. The 2009 and 2010 tournaments occurred under the guidance of official Executive Director, Jerry West, NBA legend and Hall of Famer. At a February 3, 2010 press conference at the Northern Trust Open, Tournament Director West said: “I take what I do seriously, but I certainly don't take myself seriously. We've had a good time. We've really raised revenues a lot, and we think they're going to be a lot greater the next year.”

Key Info engaged several of its strategic technology business partners as co-sponsors for the 2010 event: Brocade, IBM Corporation and VMware. Director of Marketing, Pete Elliot, said, “Our fifth consecutive sponsorship of the PGA TOUR event in Los Angeles, now called the Northern Trust Open, raised $40,000 which was the largest sponsor amount to date for our company.” Funds raised for the 2010 Northern Trust Open went to three important community programs in the Los Angeles area: Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the Los Angeles chapter of Everyone Wins!, and Verbum Dei High School programs. The entire 2010 Northern Trust Open tournament raised $1.5 million. $3 million was raised for the 2008 and 2009 events combined.
