Join the fun this Tuesday for an evening of text banking on behalf of the No On Prop 45 campaign! The election is a month away, so we need to get the word out to voters right now as ballots arrive in our mailboxes.

It's easy, it's useful, and you can play some trivia with others on the Zoom call while you get the texts sent out. As a member who did it last week said, "one of the least painful volunteering stints I have ever done!" No experience needed; the team does a great job helping people get started.

Staying indoors to escape the heat this weekend? Curl up with a good book and lose yourself in this amazing collection of essays about our world! Help us fight misinformation by spending an hour on climate action this week to write a letter to the editor!

12 SoCal papers ran an editorial endorsing Prop 45 this week. The editorials repeat the misleading information coming from the YES on Prop 45 campaign, which is funded by data center developers, for-profit utilities, and some of the state’s biggest corporations.

We need to fight back against this misinformation campaign by submitting as many letters to the editor to these news outlets as possible, refuting the inaccuracies and explaining why Prop 45 is a mistake before voters make up their minds.

Please join us on Zoom for a one-hour Action Meeting on Tuesday Sep 15, 7-8pm, where we'll guide you through writing a short (150 words!), impactful letter to submit.

We'll make it easy with templates, background, and instructions on how and where to submit your letter; all you have to do is show up and personalize the issue with your own voice!

Once Californians understand what Prop 45 really says, they strongly oppose it, but the text is 42 pages that the average voter won't ever read. That's why we're hosting an evening with experts to explain clearly what changes the proposition is proposing and what the future of California could look like if it passes.
