We got a nice first coat of paint on the gazebo Saturday! Waiting for another nice day to spray a final coat. Thank you so much to our volunteers for everything!

Our amazing volunteers got together tonight to donate their time and equipment to prep the site for the new play equipment going in soon. We were able to utilize the nice topsoil and spread it on both sides of the new sidewalk to the pavilion. Thank you everyone!

Spring has sprung! It’s time to freshen everything up! The Wolverine Garden Club / Sturgeon Valley Foundation is getting some projects done early to spruce up the corner. That includes a good power wash and fresh coat of paint for our gazebo! Can’t wait to get it all refreshed!!! Nothing better than a good before and after!

The Sturgeon Valley Foundation grew out of the same deep love for our village that has inspired the Wolverine Garden Club for decades. While remaining fully independent, the Foundation serves as a natural extension and evolution of the Garden Club’s spirit and efforts.

For many years the Garden Club has led beautification projects throughout Wolverine — planting flowers, caring for public spaces, and creating welcoming gardens that everyone enjoys.

Moving forward, the Sturgeon Valley Foundation is proud to help maintain and continue these wonderful projects, while expanding our reach to take on new community improvement initiatives.
Together, we will keep building on the Garden Club’s lasting legacy and make Wolverine even more beautiful for generations to come.

We are a family-started 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for meaningful improvement projects in the Village of Wolverine.
