Hearts for ceara (cota) hearts for ceara works with an organization called the childrens organ transplant ass. to help raise COTA is a non profit agency.

This page is set up to help raise donations on behalf of Ceara Partain a girl from Ma. Who was diagnosed on July 5th, 2010 was diagnosed with Postpartum Cardio myopathy once month after delivering her beautiful baby gril. Ceara spent 1 1/2 years in and out of the hospital until she received her miracle gift ( A New Heart) on October 12th of 2011. Since then Ceara has been in the hospital a few tim

es the last time being in February of 2013 with pneumonia and almost dying but once again she fought the odds and came threw it. The doctors and the nurses told us that they didn't think she would pull threw but shes a fighter. Currently Ceara is being monitor with a heart monitor for 48 hours to see if they can figure out why she was having pulpitations and why her heart was racing. Ceara is also on a bunch of medications that she will be on the rest of her life. Ceara is loving the time she is able to spend with her beautiful daughter Ashlee who is now 3 years old and very grateful to still be alive. Our goal is to raise $25,000.00 to help pay for her medications and transportation and hospital bills that may come in. All monies raised will go to Cota ( The Children's Organ Transplant Association ) on behalf of Ceara.

well we went down to the athol newspaper today and did our interview with them...they are going to be doing a story on ceara and the cow flop bingo. so hopefully we will get the word out there ...

another nice day... busy weekend for ceara with all the moving. one more trip to maine and the move will be over finally cant wait. ceara goes to her next drs appt next month. things are finally going good for ceara. knock on wood. thinking i might take ceara and the kids to the park maybe for a little while and then back to the house to finish unpacking and oraganizing everything

Finishing moving today. Had to throw alot of stuff away From what my daughter just told me which really sucks si tired of having to start over. hopefully everything will fit into The trailor if not i will have to make another tríp to maine euro my car

Cant believe the spring weather is finally here...lots of stuff to plan for the summer. Havent been on much lately. We finally found a place in mass so we can be a little closer to boston and the hospital. Ceara has been doing awesome since our last scare in february. We want to send our thoughts And prayers to everyone Involved In the boston bombings

Ceara is out of the hospital and hopefully we will be going home tomorrow night or tuesday morning. Cant wait to get back to my home. we are trying to find a 2nd home in mass. so we will have a place to stay while we are in mass for her appts. if anyone knows of a place please let me know we dont want to go over 1200 but would perfer cheaper where i will be paying rent for two places.

okay final update for today... Just called the hospital to check on ceara and they said that she was resting comfortably and that she has had no fever since last night. Earlier today when i called they said that She was able to do the breathing exercise for 20 mins and they told me yesterday that she was only able to do it for 5 mins. So on that note i would say she had a very good day...Now lets pray that she has another good day tomorrow...LOve you Baby girl keep on fighting to get better.
