Wise Business Association The WBA is a service organization for the business and future of Wise County, Va! All are welcome. Welcome to the WBA!

The purpose of the Wise Business Association is to make our region a better place to live, work and do business! We provide businesses with a better understanding of each other and business opportunities. We are a member-centric organization, where members volunteer their time to plan and host events in our community for networking, marketing and improvement! Meetings are every 3rd Tuesday at 6:00

PM at a local restaurant. To receive our notices & meeting agenda, message us with your email address. Music, creativity and craftsmanship will come together this June during a free weeklong Cigar Box Guitar Workshop hosted at UVA Wise. Participants will learn how to transform everyday materials into unique handmade musical instruments while exploring the rich history and culture of cigar box guitars.

The workshop is open to individuals ages 14 and older and will meet nightly from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., June 9–13, in Room 214 of the Gilliam Center for the Arts at UVA Wise.

The workshop is free to attend. All materials are provided through the “Art in Wise” grant funded by the University of Virginia’s Jefferson Trust Flash Grant Program.
