Our food pantry is short of the following:

Soup
Condiments
Salad dressing
Cake, muffin, and pancake mixes
Paper towels
Juice
Spaghetti sauce
Shampoo
Toothpaste

Any nonperishable food is always welcome, as well as any fresh produce that does not need refrigeration. Thank you for keeping our WALDO Community Center going!

Our monthly potluck is on Wednesday, the 28th at noon. Our theme for this month is summer salads. Come join us!

Our board meeting scheduled for tonight is rescheduled for next Thursday, the 22nd at 5:30 pm due to illness.

Happenings at WALDO this week...

Monday, July 22nd, Backyard Herbalism class at 2 pm. Heather will cover 3 common plants found in your backyard. Cost is $15. See event posting.
Tuesday, July 23rd, Angel will lead yoga exercise for all abilities and ages at 11am. Freewill offering.
Tuesday, July 23rd, Open Games. Bring your friends and play Scrabble, dominoes, cards, co****le, chess, checkers., anything you like, at 12:30 pm.
Wednesday, July 24th, at noon will be our monthly potluck. This month we are featuring spaghetti as the main course. Bring a side or dessert, if you like.

We are open from 10am to 3pm Tuesday through Thursday. The center is available for your activity or function all other times, by scheduling a date. Call 715-651-6012 to schedule.

This week at WALDO....

Monday, June 24th
Backyard Herbalism at 2pm. Cost is $15

Tuesday, June 25th
Chair Yoga with Angel at 11am.
Mahjong and Train Dominos at 12:30pm

Friday, June 28th
ATV class, part 1, from 6-9pm and continuing on Saturday from 12-5pm.

We are open from 10am to 3pm, Tuesday through Thursday. Call 715-6012 to schedule your event.

Some changes: We will be moving our potluck to the 4th Wednesday of the month starting in July.
Also, our Fiber Arts instructor is taking the summer off and will resume classes on September 5th.

Just a reminder.....if you would like to volunteer at the Center, or if you would like to fill one of our openings on the board, please get in touch with us. The new board members will be selected on the evening of June 20th.

Tuesday, June 18th, Chair Yoga with Angel at 11am. Mahjong and Train Dominos at 12:30pm.

Wednesday, June 19th, Fraud Prevention - Presented by Chippewa Valley Bank at 1pm.
(Wellness Wednesday is cancelled for the day)

Thursday, June 20th, Fiber Arts with Cindy at 1pm, and WALDO Community Center board meeting at 5:30pm.

This week at WALDO....
There is a Backyard Herbalism class on Monday, June 10th at 2pm to 3:30pm. Cost is $15.
Tuesday will have Angel doing chair yoga at 11am and Mahjong and Train Dominos at 12:30pm.
Wednesday will be our potluck at noon. We are grilling brats on the grill. Side dishes are appreciated and all are welcome! Our Foot Nurse will be at the Center all day from 10am to 3pm.
We will be open Tuesday through Thursday from 10am to 3pm. We have snacks, and beverages, games, Roku TV, CDs, books, DVDs, computers, puzzles, massage chair, etc. available to you. Come and enjoy your community center!
If you have a need to use the center for a private event, call Laurie Martin at 715-651-6012 to schedule. Hope to see you there!
