As many of you know, An Tobar in Maitland, our Scottish Pub Night home for the past several years, closed its doors this summer. Since then, the board has been exploring new events and venues to keep our community gathering together.

One exciting option is a new collaboration with the German American Society of Central Florida. It turns out plenty of our members have a wee bit of German in their roots, too! The German Club puts on fantastic events, and they're welcoming the St. Andrew's Society with open arms (kilts and all).

So dust off your tartan and come raise a stein with us at their Oktoberfest, Central Florida's favorite since 1963!

Look for fellow St. Andrew's members, wear your kilt proudly, and bring a friend. Can't make it Saturday? The Biergarten opens again on October 24, same hours.

On Friday evening the St. Andrew's Society is gathering in the Biergarten at the German American Society of Central Florida, with good company and in no particular hurry.

They were here before the roads, before the castles, before the clans had names.
