🏓🇺🇸 What a day at the 2nd Annual Bill Demory Army Pickleball Tournament Fundraiser! 🇺🇸🏓

Hosted by Army of Angels, this event was once again a heartfelt success — bringing our community together for a great cause and honoring the spirit of service and fun.

A huge shoutout to Annabelle Rossi, the brilliant WPHS student whose idea launched this fundraiser last year — and who once again played a key role in coordinating it this year. Your leadership and passion are making a real impact, Annabelle!

🎉 Congratulations to this year’s champions:
🏆 WPHS student Jerald Carroll and alumni Daniel Van Valkenberg!
Way to represent the Wildcat spirit on the court!

We’re so grateful for the generosity of our sponsors:
🛍️ Monkee's of Winter Park
🏡 Fannie Hillman + Associates
🏢 Damian Madsen of Harbert Realty Services
🏦 Cogent Bank
Thank you for supporting this meaningful event and helping us grow the mission.

Until next year — pickle on and serve with purpose! 💪💙

It's not often we have a sophomore in high school plan and host a fundraiser for us but that's exactly what Anabelle Rossi did last year! 😇 Now as a junior, she has made the pickleball tournament an annual event and June 7th is game day! To read more about her passion for those who are marginalized and inclusivity, check out our 5/5-5/11 newsletter. Carry on warriors!

It's not easy to put into words exactly how impactful this WPHS seniors, Gaby Nesbeth, has been in our community, which is probably because we won't fully know until the young children she watches over each and every day share their own stories years from now. 😇 To read a little bit about why she is our Angel Warrior of the week go to armyofangels.org and click on the 4/28-5/4 Newsletter.
