“When local voices rise, communities move forward.” — AMPLIFY POLK

Tomorrow, Polk County has an opportunity to make its voice heard.

Local elections matter. The people we elect to serve on our School Board help shape decisions that affect our students, educators, families, and the future of our community.

Whether you’re a parent, educator, business owner, community leader, or simply someone who calls Polk County home—your voice belongs in the conversation.

🗳️ Primary Election Day: Tuesday, August 18, 2026
⏰ Polls are open from 7:00 AM–7:00 PM

Learn about the candidates. Know what’s on your ballot. And most importantly—show up and vote.

Because stronger communities are built when informed citizens participate.

I’m honored to serve on the Advisory Board for The Salvation Army in Winter Haven, and I’m excited to help spread the word about an upcoming community event.

Join us for the Indoor Yard Sale on March 21 from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Stop by to browse great finds while supporting a meaningful cause — all proceeds raised will support the Children’s Home in Mexico.

📍 1898 8th Street NW
📍 Winter Haven, FL 33881

If you love a good yard sale and want to support a great mission, we hope to see you there!

Supporting organizations that serve our community is always worth it.

Merry Christmas from AMPLIFY Polk 🎄

This season, we honor the leadership found in giving—those who give their time, their voice, their resources, and their care to strengthen our community. True leadership shows up in service, generosity, and the quiet ways people choose to uplift others.

May this holiday be filled with peace, purpose, and people who lead with heart. As we close out the year, we’re grateful for the many ways leadership continues to give in Polk County. ❤️

Grateful for community.
Even more grateful to build it on purpose. 🖤💛

This season, our thanks shows up as:
• voting and volunteering
• mentoring and making room at the table
• amplifying voices that rarely get heard
• choosing service over silence
• investing in leaders who look like the community they serve

Thanksgiving reminds us that gratitude isn’t passive—it’s participatory.
Real thanks is shown in how we show up for each other, how we lead, and how we choose to use our influence.

From AMPLIFY Polk, we’re wishing you warmth, rest, good food, and even better company.
May your gratitude turn into action, your rest refill your power, and your purpose carry you into the months ahead.

Happy Thanksgiving, Polk County.
Let’s keep amplifying what matters.

Strength in Surrender

We’re taught that leadership means holding everything together—every task, every emotion, every expectation.
But real strength isn’t found in grip; it’s found in grace.

Surrender doesn’t mean you’ve failed.
It doesn’t mean you’re weak.
It means you’ve stopped wrestling with what’s outside your control and started investing your energy where it actually matters.

When leaders learn to release what drains them, they make room for what grows them.
Clarity opens. Peace expands. Perspective returns.
And from that soft, steady place—leadership becomes more grounded, more human, more powerful.
