Do not confuse things. Salvation is individual, and the man rules in the HOME NOT CHURCH. Christ is the ONLY head of the body and male and female benefit each other by teaching and preaching the Word as iron sharpens iron. It's not about gender, or was Mary out of place when she told the servants to do as Jesus told them when He told her "my time hasn't come"? Christ is the one who mandates, commissions and anoints the whole Body to "Go into the World and make disciples". People have become so religious they don't understand authority in a relationship with King Jesus. It was never about US...period.
The reason why Paul wrote what he did about women was due to 2 things: woman were coming in getting saved from pagan priestess duties and second it was a common thing for men and women to sit apart in the temple, and they tended to yell from one side to another making a distraction.
