⚔️🚩🤺The Robinhood Festival was a blast!! Although we had a run in with the law (Scott was charged with High Treason for stealing food from the King), he got bailed out in no time. Thank yall for supporting and raising over $1,150 in the process! This money will go directly to feeding kids and families in the neighborhood.

🧝‍♀️✨🤴The festival was filled with fun activities, such as archery, sword fighting, delicious foods and treats, and great costumes.

🍞🥔🍎Thanks so much for the support- we can’t wait for next year! Photo Credits to YES!Weekly YES! Weekly 📰

UPDATE: We are 60% of the way to bailing out Scott Best and raising funds for hundreds of meals! Help us get the rest of the way! https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/donation-form/scott-best

🚩TOMORROW! Help us bail Scott out of jail for stealing food at 12:30 tomorrow at Robin Hood Festival. We must raise $1,000 in order to free him for stealing food. All proceeds will go to feeding children and families in the community.

🥕What’s in the bag this weekend? For lunches, we will be distributing turkey and cheese sandwiches with a fruit. In the produce bags, you can find 2 carrots, 2 ears of corn, 2 lemons, 2 russet potatoes, and 1 onion. We also pass out milk and waters.

🚩Swipe to find distribution sites listed or click the following link (which can also be found in our bio): https://maps.app.goo.gl/a7jmxchbuantd5H29?g_st=ic

🥗You can find more information about our distribution sites and what to expect at this link (which you can also find in our bio under HOPE Website> Programs> Help Our People Eat) :
https://hopews.org/help-our-people-eat/

🍎There is no need to sign up in advance to receive food, just show up to a site at the specified time. We try our best to show up as we understand that people’s schedules may be tight, however sometimes our truck will show up a few minutes early or late! As demands for food have risen, we try our hardest to supply as much as we can. This means we don’t always have enough supply to last to the end of our route and we aren’t always able to make it to the Hutton St. Apartments. Please plan for this!

🫑We had such a fun cooking class this past Tuesday with Jennifer Prue ! Jen taught participants how to make Vegan Stuffed Bell Peppers and with soy-based meat, quinoa, and other yummy ingredients. Swipe to see the recipe!

🥗As always, we want to give a huge shoutout to Food Lion Food Lion Feeds, and The Crabtree Family Foundation for funding these classes.

🥕Their financial contributions help us out with the supplies (utensils, appliances, containers, etc), ingredients, and staff time for these classes. If you would like to make a contribution, visit our website at www.hopews.org/ways-to-help/donate! You can also find the link in our bio. All support is appreciated!
