She had so many quotable sayings! One of my favorites (this is Audrey) is "The truth will set you free, but first it will p**s you off!" Do you have a favorite Gloria quote or story?

She challenged sexist assumptions, helping women develop a sense of self-worth and gain a measure of equality at work, at home and in society at large.

We commemorate Women's Equality Day with gratitude and honor to the suffragists who won the 19th Amendment, guaranteeing women the right to vote. However, we still call this Women's InEquality Day for the continuing failure to certify, publish and recognize the Equal Rights Amendment as the 28th Amendment to the Constitution.
