This Memorial Day, we honor the heroes who gave their lives in service to our nation.
Their commitment to protecting others reflects the same spirit of service we see in our local law enforcement community every day. We remember their sacrifice and stand in gratitude with their families and loved ones.
The Winston-Salem Police Foundation is proud to support those who serve—and to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

We’re proud to celebrate Lt. Singletary’s flag football program as part of the Winston-Salem Police Athletic League 🏈

This league is making a meaningful impact—bringing together more than 300 young people from kindergarten through high school, creating access to affordable, team-based play for families across our community.

At the Winston-Salem Police Foundation, Youth Engagement is one of our four key pillars, and programs like this are exactly what that commitment looks like in action—building relationships, fostering trust, and creating positive opportunities for our youth both on and off the field.

We’re grateful for Lt. Singletary’s leadership and the continued impact of PAL in Winston-Salem.
