It has been another successful year of brining Christmas joy in Winside! Every kiddo has multiple gifts for under the tree and each family is getting some meat to help fill their tummies thru the winter.

I cannot say THANK YOU enough to everyone that makes this possible!

The pile in my foyer is ever growing… and I love it!!! We’re about 40% turned in with 4 days left to drop items/donations off. If you know you have an item coming but it won’t make it to a bin by Saturday PLEASE let me know, I will be using monetary donations to fulfill remaining items Sunday.

There were about 10 tags still on the tree when I emptied bins this morning.

The tree is up and wishes are waiting! Just like last year, grab the tag you are wanting to grant, shop and attach the tag to your purchase.

I have baskets for the senior/community member gifts(these are ornament tags on the tree) and kiddo gifts don’t need to be wrapped I will recruit one of our high school organizations to help with that!

There is an account under Winside Wishes at Wayne County Bank if you’d prefer a monetary donation to go toward last minute wishes that weren’t selected or the purchase of meat for the families.

I know it’s a bit early but the stores are coming out right now… if you’re ordering from a Winside team store and want to help we have a young man with a wish for some Wildcat gear. He is an adult small. Please throw a comment so he isn’t getting multiple from the same team. Thank you!

This seems to be creating some confusion... The Secret Santa post on the Our Town Winside page is not affiliated with the Winside Wishes program. I cannot personally speak to how that family is selected or how any of that is handled.

Eligible Parents have until Friday to submit their kiddos Wish List but I started making tags for those that have already come in… again this year these kids have some of the cutest simple wishes!

The tree will be up in the Farmers Co-op Store in Winside before Thanksgiving and I will post a list of gender/age for those that just like to find extras to the wish lists!
