The American Legion, Everett S. Fick Post 9 is excited to announce that we’ll have a booth at the Louisiana Forest Festival on April 24–25, 2026. Stop by, say hello, and learn more about how we’re serving veterans and our community. We can’t wait to see everyone there.

The American Legion, Everett S. Fick Post #9, has been actively searching for a place we can finally call home. Many of you know we pursued a property and building that would have been a perfect fit (with a lot of work), but unfortunately we were not able to secure it.

Our search continues, and we’re asking for your support. If you know of any potential locations or have suggestions that could help us establish a permanent home for our Post, please reach out either through our page or directly to one of our members.

Big News!!! The American Legion Everett S. Fick Post 9 has officially received its Temporary Charter. We’re now fully recognized and building toward our permanent charter as we serve the Veterans of Winn Parish.
