The Mad Lab honors the Roger "2Reddie" Thomas. We presented Mr. Roger with this appreciation certificate last spring for his generous donation of science kits to children in our community, and remarkably, we still have science kits available today (in December).
This (and many other not published good deeds) is a testament to the profound impact he had on the Mad Lab kids and the entire city of Winnfield. Our community lost a beacon of light yesterday; we shined brighter with Red in the world. He had a heart like no other, a laugh that was infectious, and smile that could light up a room. He made you feel seen and heard in his presence. He was solution driven and a problem solver. When most complain, his response was "what can I do to fix it? Let's do it." A real change agent, a man before his time. While his passing leaves us with immense sorrow, his selflessness, grit, and authenticity will continue to inspire us. His legacy will be one of great empathy, generosity, and vision of a united Winnfield. We extend our heartfelt condolences and continuous prayers to his children, siblings, and all who loved him.
