Zeman’s Kicks for Kids The mission at Zeman's Kicks for Kids is a simple one. Zeman’s Kicks for Kids is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Yesterday was extra special. Not only did we wrap up this year’s shoe drive, but it also fell on what would have been Denise Zeman’s birthday, the inspiration behind Zeman’s Kicks for Kids. 💜

Because of your generosity, we were able to place 115 brand-new pairs of gym shoes directly into the hands of students in West Chicago. The smiles, excitement, and confidence on their faces said it all.

This year’s journey was incredible:
✅ Collected 1,400+ pairs of gently worn shoes
✅ Partnered with Funds2Orgs to give those shoes a second life globally
✅ Used the proceeds to purchase and provide 115 brand-new shoes to West Chicago Elementary School District 33 Together, we doubled our impact from last year! 🙌

Delivering those new shoes on Denise’s heavenly birthday was the perfect way to honor her legacy, turning kindness into action, and ensuring every child gets to start the year with confidence.

We are excited to share that with your generosity, we collected over 1,400 pairs of shoes during this year’s shoe drive!

Here’s what happens next:
✅ Step 1: We collected shoes and funds (done!)
✅ Step 2: These gently worn shoes are now being sent to Funds2Orgs, where they will be redistributed globally to families in need.
➡️ Step 3 (August 20th): We will distribute 100+ brand-new gym shoes to students in West Chicago schools.

It’s the final push to fill the bins for the 2025 shoe drive! Please let us know if you have any unwanted shoes that we could take off your hands. You get extra closet space and deserving kids get to start their school year with a new pair of shoes. It’s a win-win!!
