Big Bones Canine Rescue Big Bones Canine Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit offering rescue services for dog breeds.Located in CO There's a pup for everyone here!

Big Bones Canine Rescue saves dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages and medical conditions. We require an application, reference check and a home visit. It is important to us that each of our dogs find their perfect family. Microchip, spay/neuter, and current shots are included with every adoption.

What a good looking pup this boy is! Smokey came to us from Oklahoma, and is thought to be an approximately 2 year old Australian Shepherd mix. He gets along with other dogs, but does seem to be a bit unsure about how to truly be a dog. Smokey is unsure of leashes, but does great once he is walking beside you. We are confident that this sweet boy will learn quickly....He just needs someone to show him the ropes! Could that be you? The needs never stop, but our resources are dangerously low.

Vet bills are rising. Dog food costs more. Transportation fees are increasing. Adoptions are down. And our bills keep growing.

But you know what hasn’t changed? Our dogs still need us.

At Big Bones Canine Rescue, we simply cannot look into those pleading eyes and say, “No, we can’t help you.”

We can’t turn our backs on a suffering dog just because the bills are piling up & our resources are stretched thin. Every dog deserves a chance to feel safe, loved, and wanted.

But we cannot do this alone.

Our dogs don’t understand rising costs, mounting bills, or declining adoptions. They only know they need us.

They need us. We need you. Together, we can keep saving lives!

Tiny Dancer is guessed to be a 6 yr old Saint Bernard. He is sweet, loving, and gentle giant with a soft heart and an even softer spot for cuddle time. He adores a good b***y scratch and is always ready to lean in for affection. He's still mastering his leash skills, can be selective about dog friends (may do best as the only dog), and would like to have a family experienced with large breeds.
