What a beautiful time in Staunton, Virginia!

I am so grateful to Spring Hill Presbyterian Church for the invitation to come and share the Good News of Jesus Christ and the story of Carolina Rebuilding Ministry (CRM).

There is something special about being welcomed into a church family with such warmth, kindness, and love. Thank you to Berlin and Bill, to Pastor Todd, and to the entire congregation for opening your hearts and your church to us. Your hospitality was a true blessing.

I was also grateful to have Dave Kuitert join me for this visit. It is always better when you have a brother in Christ beside you as you share the story of what God is doing through CRM.

And what a beautiful part of our country! Staunton reminded me once again of the incredible beauty God has given us. On our way home, Dave and I even made a little pit stop at Monticello; a perfect way to add a little history to an already meaningful trip.

Thank you, Spring Hill Presbyterian Church, for allowing us to come, fellowship with you, and share how God is using ordinary people to do extraordinary things for His Kingdom.

A Special Shout-Out to Cary UMC

Today we want to give a very special shout-out to our friends at Cary UMC here in North Carolina!

There’s something especially meaningful about seeing a church from our own backyard continue to show up, not just once, but five weeks or more throughout the year; to serve families right here in eastern North Carolina.

We are incredibly blessed by every volunteer who comes through the doors of Carolina Rebuilding Ministry. Whether you travel five hours, five states, or five miles, your willingness to give your time, your hands, and your heart matters.

But we also know how hard it can be to rally volunteers in your own backyard. That’s why the commitment of Cary UMC is so special.

They remind us that serving our neighbors isn’t just something we talk about it’s something we do.

Thank you, Cary UMC, for continuing to answer the call and for being part of what God is doing through CRM. We are grateful for you!

11:30 PM at Carolina Rebuilding Ministry...

It's amazing how much can change in just a few minutes.

All day long, you hear hammers swinging, saws cutting, laughter echoing through the hallways, and volunteers coming and going. The building is full of life.

Then... 11:30 PM hits.

Complete. Silence.

Well... almost.

Our night patrol managed to spot two little "mice" still sneaking around before finally calling it a night.

Even the chickens had already gone to bed!

And if you scroll through the photos, you'll find Pastor Chris looking like the heat got the best of him. LOL That's the look of a man who Gave! Love you, Brother!

Hearts were full, hands were busy, and lives were changed.
