We had some fun turning our CRM crew into “The Rebuilders,” but every volunteer belongs in this picture!

Thank you for showing up, giving your time, and allowing us to serve alongside you. Through your willing hands, God is restoring homes and reminding our neighbors they are loved.

We’re blessed to call you family. To God be the glory!

We love this guy! We call him, Bob the Methodist! Everyone say hello!

Team Basic and furry friends 💗🐾🐾

They work hard but they also have fun while doing it! I loved hearing everyone joke around and hanging with the little helpers. I bet the volunteers didn’t think they’d find a cute kitten when they came down to help Carolina Rebuilding Ministry. Everyday here at CRM is a new adventure!

The ramp repair is complete, and all glory goes to Jesus!

We brought our hands, our tools, and willing hearts and Jesus worked through us to care for our neighbor. What a blessing to be part of His work!

I’m so thankful for our volunteers who answered the call to serve and stayed with this job until it was done. Each of you is a blessing to Carolina Rebuilding Ministry and the people we serve.

Look at what Jesus did through us!

That floor is going down, and it sure is looking better!

TEAM BASIC—Brothers and Sisters in Christ—is putting love into action, one board at a time. It touches my heart to see all our volunteers give their time and energy to help make someone’s home safer and more comfortable.

Thank you, TEAM BASIC, and every volunteer who pours their heart into this ministry. You are a blessing to our neighbors and to all of us at Carolina Rebuilding Ministry!

Carolina Rebuilding Ministry is excited about a partnership taking shape with East Carolina University’s College of Engineering and Technology!

Our conversations are exploring potential support for home-repair material costs and opportunities for ECU construction students to work alongside CRM volunteers in the field; putting classroom knowledge into practice while helping neighbors who need safe, accessible homes.

For students, this could mean valuable hands-on experience. For our homeowners, it could mean repairs that restore safety, independence, and dignity. For our volunteers, it’s an opportunity to serve alongside the next generation of builders and community leaders.

While we are still working through the details, we’re encouraged by the shared vision and the possibilities ahead. Thank you to our ECU friends for exploring how education and service can come together to strengthen eastern North Carolina!

What do we need from you? Your prayers.

“Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.”
1 Thessalonians 5:17–18

Please pray for wisdom as these conversations continue, for the students and volunteers who may serve together, and for the homeowners waiting for help. We are thankful for every opportunity God provides to serve our neighbors and for each of you who supports this ministry through prayer.

We told Dave we needed someone to help move mountains at CRM. He showed up with a shovel and said, “Where do you want ’em?”

Faith, hard work, and just enough stubbornness to make the dirt surrender! We love you, Dave!

Rain, sleet, or shine. TEAM BASIC is in it to win it!

A heartfelt thank-you to BASIC, “Brothers and Sisters in Christ” for serving alongside Carolina Rebuilding Ministry this week. Your hard work, willing hearts, and determination remind us what it means to put faith into action.

Every repair is about more than a house. It’s about helping a neighbor feel safe, restoring dignity, and reminding someone they are loved and not forgotten.

Thank you for showing up, rolling up your sleeves, and sharing the love of Christ through service. We are grateful for each of you!
