💙A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated to support the three siblings! Your generosity has made a significant impact, and I’m thrilled to share that the items have been picked up by their caseworker and will be delivered tomorrow.

Looking at the picture, it’s evident how much love and care went into each donation. From cozy clothing to fun toys, we also gave them each a new backpack filled with school supplies,every contribution will brighten their day and make a difference in their lives.

Today, we celebrate every foster youth who has reached the incredible milestone of graduation. Whether you're graduating from high school, college, a trade school, or a certification program, this achievement is something to be proud of.

Your journey may have included challenges that many people will never fully understand. Yet through every obstacle, every transition, and every uncertainty, you continued to move forward. Your strength, resilience, determination, and hard work have brought you to this moment.

💔 Sometimes children find themselves facing circumstances completely beyond their control.

We were recently contacted by DCF regarding three children who have come to Connecticut after their parents were deported. They are now living with a relative who has stepped up to provide them with a safe and loving home during this incredibly difficult transition.

As these children prepare to start school and adjust to a new life, they are in need of some basic necessities.

The family could also greatly benefit from food gift cards as they work to provide for the children during this unexpected time.

These children have experienced a tremendous amount of change in a very short period of time. While we cannot change their circumstances, we can come together as a community to help them feel supported, welcomed, and cared for.

A new outfit, a pair of shoes that fit, or a gift card to help provide meals may seem small, but to a child facing uncertainty, these acts of kindness can mean the world.

🌟 Exciting Partnership Announcement! 🌟

We are proud to announce a new partnership between Let’s Refoster Care Inc. and Soul Friends, Inc to better serve Connecticut's foster, adoptive, and DCF-involved families.

At Soul Friends Inc., Kate and her dedicated team are committed to ensuring that foster youth, biological parents, foster families, and foster-to-adopt families have access to the support they need to heal, grow, and thrive. Their mission aligns closely with ours as they provide counseling services, animal-assisted therapy, and equine therapy to children and families impacted by the child welfare system.

One area we are especially excited to collaborate on is supporting foster children who are transitioning into adoptive homes. Through specialized therapeutic services, Soul Friends helps children build healthy attachments, strengthen family bonds, process trauma, and navigate the unique challenges that can arise during the adoption journey.

Together, Let’s Refoster Care Inc. and Soul Friends Inc. will be developing and implementing curriculum and supportive programming designed specifically for children and families impacted by DCF involvement. This partnership will allow us to combine resources, expertise, and community connections to create meaningful and lasting change.

Today, we reach out with heavy hearts to support our friend and dedicated single mom, Alissa Marie, who is facing an unimaginable challenge. Her son has been involved in a serious accident and is currently in the ICU, embarking on a long journey to recovery.

Alissa is not only by her son’s side during this critical time but also managing life at home with her five incredible boys. As she navigates her own health struggles and the financial burden of missing work, the rising costs of travel, food, and everyday expenses are becoming overwhelming.

🎮❤️ Let’s Refoster Care is proud to join Bring VR Fun to Life!

On July 18th at Orchard Fest in Shelton, CT, three foster children will each receive a brand-new VR headset — thanks to the generosity of our community and local musicians coming together for a great cause.

Three bands will personally present the VRs during the event, including our very own 🎸 TERN AWAY 🎸, who are honored to help make this moment special.
For many foster youth, moments like these mean more than just a gift — they create experiences,
build confidence, provide comfort, and remind them that they are cared for.
