Following his accomplishments on the international stage, John returned to Windham to run the family restaurant business and invest his skills and energy in the town of Windham. John plans to continue to grow and connect the community through his organization, On Board Initiative, which promotes a healthy and active lifestyle through board sports.

We recently held a cocktail party in New York City as a way to say thank you to our donors. This event brought like-minded donors together to celebrate the Windham Community and to learn about the Foundation’s future plans. William Proffitt is the artist behind the pencil drawing pictured here, titled "Sun Rise Over Beautiful Windham Mountain #18". The piece was auctioned off to raise money for the Windham Foundation of NY.

Windham Foundation’s support of Windham's new Little League field project isn’t just about building ballfields, it’s about creating a place where our children can grow, play, and make the memories we all cherish. A place where families gather under a pavilion to cheer on the kids, where laughter fills the playground, and where traditions begin.
