Jazz In The Garden

Jazz In The Garden Jazz in the Garden was born of necessity when the Windham Center community realized the Windham Free Library needed help meeting their financial needs. Drs.

For 22 years, the Windham Center community has come together in an effort to raise funds for the Windham Free Library to aide in their commitment to the restoration and preservation of historically significant artifacts, children's programs and more. Andrew and Barbara Gibson offered their garden to host the very first 'Jazz in the Garden' fundraiser to benefit the Windham Free Library. Since 2002

, the Jazz in the Garden Planning Committee has met almost monthly to share ideas, tasks, and good company. Each year details, jobs, and special effects might change but the goals of the planning meeting stay the same; to help the Windham Free Library in its on going commitment to the community. The quaint little library is located at 7 Windham Green Road in Windham, CT. It is both a historical gem as well as a vital part of our community. Please follow along as we chronicle the memories and strive to maintain our tiny part of history.
