Community Hope Foundation

Several deputies with huge hearts had a conversation one day about the different issues the families we come into contact with on a daily basis are faced with everyday. We decided walking away, wishing we could do more was no longer an option. We face incredible opportunities everyday where we can enrich the lives of children and families. The time to act is now. Community Hope Foundation is a com

munity outreach program created by Law Enforcement personnel from the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office. All of the deputies are involved on a volunteer basis. They have seen a need in our community and want to help. Below is a list of available services:

*Food Pantry - This includes food items (non-perishables), personal care items (toothpaste, soap, laundry detergent, etc.) and baby items (diapers, wipes, formula), Prepared Meals

*Financial Assistance with Rent, Utilities

*Clothing Items - Coats, shoes, Winter/Summer items

*Budget Counseling/Financial Planning /Organizational Counseling

*Continuing Education – Information on GED, computer classes, Homework Assistance (Adults and Kids), School Supplies

*Job Search Assistance - Job Placement, Interview/Grooming Skills

*Childcare Assistance, Child involvement in Extra-curricular activities/Sports Activities

*Ride Share Programs

*Young Parent Mentoring Programs
