Weird Beards Founded in 2015, we GROW awareness generally for cancer but we may engage in other community needs. Along with donating the monies saved from not shaving.

This page is dedicated to raising awareness, usually for cancer, but we may engage in alternative needs for the community in general. To participate, we ask to start off with a clean shave on October 31st and do not shave for the entire month of November, and then resume your regularly scheduled shaves on December 1st. Each person participating is encouraged to share a weekly photo of themselves s

howing the growth of their beard and adding a comment regarding the cause. We incorporate silliness and fun into our efforts (a lip-sync contest, funny characters, etc.) but all with seriousness to bring attention to the cause and support of the local need. While this is generally a men's event, women are welcome to show support as well, via other means.
