It is with great regret that we are announcing the cancellation of the 8th Annual Hop Blossom Homebrew Competition on March 23rd, 2020 amidst the current COVID-19 epidemic and CDC recommendations. We have informed the BJCP and AHA of the cancellation as well.

Keep on brewing and we will hopefully see you next year!

Get ready for the 8th Annual Hop Blossom Homebrew Competition on Saturday May 23rd, 2020!

Monday March 16th at 12:00AM marks the opening of account registration and judge/steward signup for judging at Brewbaker's Restaurant in Wi******er, VA on May 23rd at 9:00AM.

Those interested in judging or stewarding are encouraged to sign-up in advance, with registered volunteers earning a $2.00 discount on each entry.

Entry registration begins on March 30th, 2020 at 12:00AM and closes on May 16th, 2020 at 5:00PM. $8.00 per entry with a maximum of 3 entries per brewer.

Entry limits for this competition are cut off at 100 PAID entries, so get yours registered and PAID as soon as possible.

Table placements for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will receive medals with the final Best of Show honor earning the top spot and the chance to brew their award winning beer on Front Royal Brewing Company's 1BBL pilot system.

Another successful Mashtoberfest! Thanks to Front Royal Brewing Company for hosting us this year and to all of those that helped us raise money for Warren and Frederick County Volunteer Fire and Reacue Depts. We will have the final donations talley up on a few days.
