We have the privilege of helping another mom in need! She reached out today explaining that she has been stuck in an abusive situation for ten years and then progressed to her six year old child and she knew it was time to go. I have helped gotten her signed up for everything necessary with social services but it takes time.

For the mean time I just wanted to get her some groceries and the necessities she needs to get her by while she is getting back on her feet.

She is very motivated and moving in the right direction to restart her life and she is the perfect person to receive help getting there.

🚨 EMERGENCY REQUEST 🚨

A sweet family in our community needs us right now. She’s a newly single mom of two who has exhausted every option available to her, and she is facing eviction in just a few days unless she can come up with $1,100 for rent.

She has asked that, if possible, donations be made in the form of a cashier’s check to ensure full transparency and accountability. Anyone who sends funds through me will receive a photo of the cashier’s check showing the total amount given, as well as a picture of the receipt from the rental company once the payment is made.

If you can find it in your heart to help, please do. She isn’t asking for a handout, she’s a desperate mother just needing a little grace and support to keep a roof over her babies’ heads.

Every share, prayer, and dollar truly makes a difference.

✨We’re all just human, let’s take care of each other ✨

People show up in beautiful ways during the holidays. They give when Christmas lights are glowing, when school is starting back up, when summer meal programs are in full swing. They donate toys in December, backpacks in August, and extra snacks in June. And those moments matter.

But hunger doesn’t disappear in January. Bills don’t pause in March. Children don’t stop growing in October. The families struggling in December are the same families struggling in February, only now the spotlight is gone. The cameras are off. The giving slows down. The need does not.

Poverty is not seasonal. Hardship doesn’t follow a calendar. There are parents choosing between rent and groceries in the middle of spring. There are kids needing shoes in the dead of winter with no holiday drive in sight. There are families who feel forgotten simply because it’s an “ordinary” month.

If we truly care, we can’t just give when it feels festive. We have to give when it’s quiet. When no one is posting about it. When there’s no big campaign attached. The real work, the lasting impact, happens in the in-between months.

Because the need is still there.
And in many ways, it’s even greater.
